PETTING ZOO
At the rear of the Dillard House property in downtown Dillard (15 minutes down the mountain) is a lovely little petting zoo filled with a rotating collection of goats, sheep, chickens, roosters and the occasional pig or miniature pony. The zoo is free of charge and has little food pellets to feed the animals available for $1 per bag. You and your kids will love it!
While you are there, stop off at the little hut next door and check out the horseback riding opportunities.
